Transport Kids Activities Melbourne
Helicopters and light planes...this spot doesn't cover all transport options but it does satisfy any little plane spotters love of all things that 'go'.
Head to the Moorabbin Airport with the family if you want to fill up a morning or afternoon - you'll be pleasantly surprised.
When you're not pulled to the squeals of excitement watching the light planes take off and land, the playground on site will give you even more enjoyment.
For even more plane spotting (afterall there's a lot of it!) and perhaps a little closer to the action, grab a coffee and snack at the Flight Deck Bar & Grill: open Weds - Sunday (formerley the AERO Restaurant) and sit in the fenced front part overlooking the whole airfield.
Afterwards pay a visit to The Australian National Aviation Museum as it's well worth it and will round up the day nicely. Watch your kids faces as you climb aboard bigger aeroplanes or view the one of almost 50 from a distance.
This little excursion is guaranteed to put a huge smile on your dial! One visit just won't be enough. Up, up and away!
