centenary reserve playspace port melbourne

centenary reserve port melbourne park

Centenary Reserve has undergone a transformation and it has gone from drab to totally fab! It's out with the old (coloured plastic) and in with a natural palette of nature inspired play equipment and an urban garden for the public. Ooh, you might fancy a game of TABLE TENNIS too! (Just bring your own bat and ball). This great use of space is opposite the skate park and Graham Street bridge underpass - basketball hangs and Melbourne street art central and you're likely to spot a tram or two on your visit!

There's a grassy patch for ball play complete with goal posts and a painted mural wall to kick a ball against, numerous climbing frames to weave in and out of, even swing from. Swings and next swing (special baby swing too), slides, a four way see-saw, monkey bars, wooden steps and a few other nature inspired equipment.

So next time you're in the area or looking for a little morning or afternoon play, this might just be your go-to.
