Out of Town
Here's where to keep the kids throroughly entertained for hours. We promise even the line-ups and crowds will be worth it (ok, in small doses)!
Go kart's, toboggans, water slides, mini golf...and more! Once you get here (about an hour out of Melbourne) the fun never stops.
If you really want to get your money's worth (and let's be honest, who doesn't) plan to arrive early and stay all day and choose a warm day. If you go in busier times (school holidays and weekends), naturally expect big queues.
Just over an hour from Melbourne and 10 minutes from Geelong CBD, Adventure Park boasts a diverse array of water and land-based rides that will keep the family highly entertained for hours.
Super charge your summer at Victoria's biggest theme park! With awesome family fun all day long, Adventure Park Geelong is home to some of the coolest water rides in Australia.
Take a walk through Melbourne's most famous 'Mr Moon' face and enter into a magical kids world of 1930's style amusements.
There is no line-up to get in, just enter through the 'Mr Moon' face and once you're inside kids rule the roost! You buy your tickets for rides once inside and go from there. As height restrictions are in place for rides it's natural some of the rides will be out of bounds for younger tots (even the Carousel has height restrictions). The atmosphere, mixed with a sunny day, makes for a fun-filled morning or afternoon out in St. Kilda.
Welcome to the land of wonder where fairytales come to life!
Fairy Park Anakie is a one hour drive from Melbourne or 25 minutes from Geelong. Set on a rock formation at the top of a hill and featuring 22 animated fairytale scenes set in beautiful manicured gardens you get the impression the park is a real labour of love.
Get lost - literally! No trip to Phillip Island is complete without a stop-off to the totally fun, A Maze'N Things. It's a little world of optical illusions, mazes, lateral thinking, mental exercise and puzzles that will entertain, amuse and intrigue both the kids and adults alike.
Plan a definite half a day here (though you can spend as long as you like) as you're going to need it with so much to do, see and explore inside and outdoors.
