City Sights Kids Activities Melbourne
The City is In, always IN!
The City comes up trumps time and time again with its Museums, aquarium, galleries, Southbank, Docklands, Fed Square, laneways and a playground (yes - a City playground)!
And when school comes to an end, the days warm up (or cool even), the city comes to life for Melbourne Kids. Lets not forget Christmas Celebrations - it's quite possibly the most magical time to enjoy the City.
We've rounded up highlights from the top venues for kids culture in Melbourne. Have fun getting out and about with the Family.
The Langham, Melbourne presents BARBIE™ You Can Be Anything High Tea, teaching girls to dream big during the upcoming school holidays at the hotel’s luxurious Aria lounge.
BARBIE™ is back by popular demand. The Langham, Melbourne has long celebrated BARBIE™ and all she stands for with children’s high teas since 2013. Now, all our little Langham high tea lovers can return for some fun and inspiration for the sixth Langham celebration of BARBIE™ in September 2016.
Not that we're encouraging you to go gaming anymore than you should, but if you're after a warm and free indoors spot to bunker down or somewhere cool in Summer, then Screen Worlds will intrigue the youngest of players.
With no x-box, nintendo or gaming device etc in our home, Screen Worlds is a bit of fun where the kids can sit for as long as they like and play games. Maybe they want to challenge you, a friend or a sibling, its got its place in the City.
Each Friday in July the City of Melbourne will put on a free fireworks show, along with street performers and other displays over the Docklands.
Before the leadup to the fireworks grab some dinner from the many eateries, catch a street performer or two then settle in for an amazing performance of fireworks that sweep the Melbourne skyline.
