Kid Friendly Cafes
Melbourne is a mecca for cafe culture and it also caters for kids with kid-friendly cafe options all over the place.
A few of our haunts include Jerry's Milk Bar in Elwood with its covered and heated outdoor courtyard, kids play area and great food (especially the banana bread and kid shakes) or The Farm Cafe at The Collingwood Children's Farm. Serving up wholesome food, service with a smile and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Then there's Cheeky Chinos catering for the under 5's with a supervised play area and modern interior while Parents take a break over good coffee and lunch. Crafternoon is another gem in the North, where crafting, creating and food take centre stage.
There's also Little Captain in St Kilda East which boasts a fully enclosed park next door, accessible rear cafe courtyard with toys and the best toasted mini bagels, mini cupcakes, choc doughnuts plus $2 Choc Milk for the little ones! Or we frequent Cowderoy's Dairy in St. Kilda West. It boasts all the kid-friendly touches and the beauty of it is the attached playground and mini oval for ball play or a run around.
