When Halloween comes around the kids normally have a street party but last year we were invited to the Spooktober Halloween Event and the kids were still talking about it for months afterwards - a true sign of enjoyment (plus any excuse to dress up...right?)!

Little ghosts, ghouls, witches and princesses can have a safe and frightfully fun trick-or-treat adventure at Spooktober with a night of non-stop eerie activities and exciting attractions.

The draw card at Spooktober is the grand back-drop, being the house, The Gables Mansion, in Melbourne‚Äôs Malvern East. Here you can make your way through multiple haunted house experiences where creatures lurk around every turn and experience Halloween like never before with multiple trick-or-treating stops, character encounters, spooky photo opportunities, costume showcases and unlimited games and attractions. The Spooktober tour freaked our 2 kids out last year, but this year a special tour 'The Spooktober Not So Scary Tour' aimed at 5 years and under is on offer.

The grounds are set up with every spooky prop going - photo opportunity central and the activities were equally impressive.

This event is magically frightful fun for both kids and adults alike. In fact many adult guests don their favourite Halloween costumes right alongside their younger "scarers."

So don your spooky costume and get set to trick or treat around The Gables Mansion.
