Bunnings - No need to explain why we all go there!
We have a soft spot for Bunnings! Which doesn't mean we constantly hangout at Bunnings either. Generally we're in need of something for the house (who isn't?) and it tends to be a Saturday morning after the market that we venture there.
If you're not there to pick up wood glue (like us!), plants for the balcony, courtyard or garden, attend an Adult D.I.Y workshop or grab a late breakie or sausage sizzle special on the way out, you'd be surprised to learn that Bunnings loves kids too.
Kids D.I.Y Workshops at our local Port Melbourne Bunnings take place namely on a Saturday morning (check your local for times/dates) directly in front of the Children's Play Area and Warehouse Cafe. A big winner when the kids are done crafting they can whip off their shoes and have uninterupted free play. Creative projects such as a St. Patrick's decorating class our kids did, tool boxes, planters, calendar's, CD holders, Christmas angels to jewellery boxes are some of the free offerings.
Apart from Free Kids Workshops where you can just turn up, they hold special events.
