Parties Kids Activities Melbourne
There is nothing like some good old-fashioned farmyard fun. Put on some gumboots and a flannel shirt, pat some animals, and enjoy a party at one of these fantastic farm venues around Melbourne:
You can hire the party barn or stables for $67 for 3 hours. Admission costs are $6 per child or $9 per adult. Pony rides or wildlife reserve rides are $3 per person, or you can buy a booklet of 10 tickets for $25.
There is a gorgeous vintage train carriage that you can hire so that guests can enjoy their party food under cover. There are animals to pat, feed and cuddle. Birthday party bookings are charged at the normal entry fee of $12 per child 3 years and over or $6 per child 1-2 years old. Accompanying adults are free. The price also includes a pony ride and hay ride.
Chesterfield Farm offers a great package for kids parties. For $15 per child (minimum 10 children), you get a reserved area for the day, party invitations, free animal feed and tractor ride and a gift for the birthday child.
Myuna Farm has a number of indoor and outdoor party areas to choose from. The party areas are free to use, but normal admission and ride fees apply: $20 family (2 adults and 2 children) or $6 per adult or child over 12 months, train rides are $2 per person or pony rides are $2 per ride. Kids will love the animal nursery, where they can pat rabbits and guinea pigs. There is also a great playground with a wooden maze to explore.
The Collingwood Children’s Farm has a couple of kids party options to choose from. You can organise your own farm itinerary and just pay the normal entry fees ($4 per child or $8 per adult). Or you can go for a hosted farm party where a friendly farmer will take kids on a pony or tractor ride, feed the animals and milk the cow. A hosted party starts from $150 for 8 children. The Farm Café offers a fabulous kids party menu.
