Driving up into the hills on a cruisy Sunday drive is one way of escaping the City and nothing could be more perfect than a stop off to SkyHigh Mt. Dandenong.
You'll be greeted at the car park entrance with a $6.00 entrance fee which covers car parking. Car spaces are plentiful here - they need to be as it gets packed.
School Holidays are a great time to visit - activities are always plentiful.
Free activities aside, you are welcome to roam and enjoy the gardens and cafe/restaurant at your leisure. If it's the maze you've come for, you need to make payment at the cafe kiosk and enter through the maze gate. The real fun begins when you're given a certificate on entry that you need to collect four stamps within the maze to go on and collect a badge on your exit.
There is no denying the view at SkyHigh is pretty special and what better way to take it in than at the cafe/restaurant. Upstairs is a function room and restaurant and downstairs is a roomy cafe with table service indoors and casual outside. All the usuals are on offer and there's a small gift shop. SkyHigh is a beautiful spot for picnics too.
