Dinosaur World invites visitors to step into a world with a prehistoric past, turning back the pages of time, when dinosaurs were the only creatures that roamed the earth.
If you've got a dino obsessed little one then this is the place to explore! Large electronic dinosaurs aren't the only star here, you can explore the 'dig and discover' area (for an extra charge) searching high and low for buried fossil and even take it home. There's even a walking dinosaur 'Wilson' who you'll get to meet up close.
Montalto is all that, and some more. Great wine, great food, great location and great vibe.
The open-air Piazza Café (open weekends) dishes up pizza, warming winter soups, and summer salads.
The setting is fantastic and will keep you coming back again and again. It's here you could enjoy a different experience within the restaurant looking out to the olive grove, sculptures and vines or eat under the umbrellas and shade in the family-friendly piazza.
You can't beat Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm when it comes to a Summer activity for the whole family.
If you are planning a trip down to Mornington Peninsula to do some strawberry picking, do note that the strawberry season is from November to April. Off-season strawberry picking is only available at a handful of farms and typically limited to weekends with shorter opening hours. Even in-season strawberry picking is limited at times e.g. Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm U-pick was closed when we arrived early morning as they had been washed out so we were directed to their other farm which was brimming with strawberries.
Rain, Hayne & Shine Farmyard is located in Balnarring, Victoria, only 1 hour’s drive from Melbourne. The very friendly farm is hidden down a dirt track, just off Frankston – Flinders Road.
It's by far one of our favourite farms to visit while holidaying on the Peninsula. You'll capture the full country life farm yard experience here and be able to touch and feed the animals.
The Peninsula Hot Springs which offers the only natural thermal mineral springs bathing in Australia will delight the whole family.
The public bathing area boasts 20 different bathing options for visitors of all ages, including a cave pool, reflexology walk, hamam, sauna, cold plunge pools, family pools and massaging thermal mineral showers. The owner of the Peninsula Hot Springs has travelled far and wide visiting various hot springs, so each pool is based on different concepts from around the world.
