City Sights Kids Activities Melbourne
Not that we're encouraging you to go gaming anymore than you should, but if you're after a warm and free indoors spot to bunker down or somewhere cool in Summer, then Screen Worlds will intrigue the youngest of players.
With no x-box, nintendo or gaming device etc in our own home, Screen Worlds is a bit of fun where the kids can sit for as long as they like and play games and there's the new addition of Minecraft. Maybe they want to challenge you, a friend or a sibling, its certainly got its place in the City.
Apart from the playing games bit, Screen Worlds is the Story of Film, Television and Digital Culture. The exhibition contains 220 screen-based displays, over 30 hours of moving image content, including specially commissioned works, and fascinating artefacts and memorabilia.
Screen Worlds gives everyone the opportunity to think critically about the moving image, to create work and manipulate its forms and to understand the integral role it plays in our lives.
