City Sights Kids Activities Melbourne
The City is In, always IN!
The City comes up trumps time and time again with its Museums, aquarium, galleries, Southbank, Docklands, Fed Square, laneways and a playground (yes - a City playground)!
And when school comes to an end, the days warm up (or cool even), the city comes to life for Melbourne Kids. Lets not forget Christmas Celebrations - it's quite possibly the most magical time to enjoy the City.
We've rounded up highlights from the top venues for kids culture in Melbourne. Have fun getting out and about with the Family.
The Firelight Festival is back to deliver its fiery wonder! Drawing on the traditions of the winter solstice, experience spectacular nightly pyrotechnics, flame jets and fire drums, roving performers and eclectic music in bespoke settings.
With over 40 performances a night from all corners of the globe, including gypsy tunes, New Orleans brass, jazz, mariachi, bluegrass and a one-man band, crowds wandering the three precinct promenades will be dazzled with scorching entertainment.
Let’s hear you roar! Calling the bravest, fastest, strongest and keenest of sight, Disney fans young and old are invited to experience The Lion Guard High Tea at The Langham Melbourne. Inspired by the Pride Lands, Kion and his ragtag group of friends, it promises to be a wildly fun-filled afternoon. Hakuna Matata!
Australia Day 26/01 - Sure, it's a holiday but it's also the day we come together and celebrate being 'Australian'.
A day on the beach, a BBQ, a picnic with friends, a drink or two, prawns prawns prawns and a time to reflect on what it means to be a true blue/pink/mint Aussie!
Here's a little inspiration, in and out of Melbourne (and in no particular order)!
