Celebrate Buddha's birthday in a multi-cultural extravaganza at Fed Square.

The 17th annual Buddha's Day and Multicultural Festival celebrates the vesak or wesak (Buddha's birthday) with a Melbourne twist!

Incorporating the traditions of Buddhist ceremonies including Bathing of the Buddha, Dharma ceremonies, the Wishing Bell and traditional incense offerings, the celebration at Fed Square will also include a vegetarian culinary tour of Asia, cultural demonstrations, music, art and craft and community activities.

Two of the stars from the smash hit movie, Happy Feet Two, will feature at the Good Friday Appeal Kids Big Day Out at Etihad Stadium, at Docklands, on April 6th.

See Mumble and Gloria for two big performances as part of
a very big family fun day of entertainment. The dancing duo will feature in two “Time to Tap Interactive Experiences” at 11.00am and 1.00pm.

And don’t forget to bring your Teddy Bear or a soft toy for a check up at the Teddy Bear Hospital or have your photo taken with a Channel Seven celebrity.
