Next time you find yourself (actually, your family) in Geelong, take a leaf out of our book (!!) and do your kids a favour and visit the Geelong Regional Library. There's an entire floor dedicated to children and young people, with age-appropriate collections, digital technology and activity spaces.
You'll find this amazing space on the top level of The Dome and this welcoming space is one Adults will appreciate too - from the free Wi-fi to the Peppermint magazines! Every little section and play area has been carefully thought out here from the little reading nooks, a centre table and chairs with dinosaurs and colouring, kid sized table with computers and games, beautiful books for little ones right up to teens on every imaginable subject, video games with beanbags, board games, more computers and a seperate room with tactile games (blocks and felt) and LEGO. It's so, so good and you may find yourself spending a little longer here than first thought! The staff are wonderful too.
